2 beeps on the bios

once a day my computer acts strange it looses time and say i reboot
gives me 2 beeps on the bios (AMI) any ideas

Two short beebs on an AMI BIOS means that the power on self test has
failed. First you should check the random access memory, if it is
correctly working. Next you could dismantle and reintegrate it.

Which doesn't tell anything together with your non-information regarding
motherboard brand, date of manufacturing, maybe 2nd hand or warranty
exchange/refurbished ware, storage environmental conditions (you probably
don't know). Check it out, or - best practice if really new - take it back
for a refund/exchange.
 
how many sticks of ram do you have installed? Try booting it with just 1,
see if you have the same result. Also try reseating the ram to make sure
they are fitted into the slots correctly, but as far as that goes sounds
like a memory issue. If your video is working, try the above memory
suggestion, If you can see an error during boot up along with the beeps,
would be helpful to know that info as well. Also try switching the memory
around to different slots. If all the memory seems to be ok then sounds like
the motherboard or motherboard bios needs to be replaced. Since you have
just bought it I would take it back in that event. (be sure to boot the pc
with 1 ram chip installed, if no beeps, remove the good one and insert the
next one, keep doing this for all chips to determine possible ram failure)

As for the time on the bios, losing time usually is the result of bad
battery, bad cmos chip, or bad clock crystal(rare)

The board is therefore new TO YOU. But is it really new? In other words, how
long did it sit on the shelf before you bought it? How old is the board
design, when was it manufactured and/or first marketed? It could have been
sitting around hither and yon for two or three years before it came into
your hands, and the battery has been dutifully keeping the CMOS alive all
that time. Replace the battery.

Kinda doubt its the battery.....Or memory... Heck just take that board
back...

Most likely a software problem.
There can be various reasons for it.
Put "computer loses time" in the search box in Google for some info
on it. (use the quotation marks)

I must agree with you on this. Sad and I got custom-built computers in
the spring. we both have a motherboard from Elitegroup (ECS). We both
get two beeps. One when we first boot or reboot (pre P.O.S.T.) and one
immediately following the Power On Self Test. This is normal, so it is
important to know the brand of board, and WHEN the OP gets the beeps.

It was called Anti-porn made by Tueagles, found out via disabling
startup method ie msconfig
