Hallo,
does anyone know if there are already available 2,5" notebook EIDE/ATA HDDs
in a size bigger than 100 GB ?
If not, is it known whether the large manufacturers are already working on
them and intending to release them in the near future (i.e. 1Q2005) ?

Thanks.

None at this time.

They're always working on bigger & better models. Whether we'll see
a >100GB HD soon is up to the scientists who make things small and
work. The problem here is that it is getting pretty darn small
(recording density), and they have to really test things to make sure
your data doens't blink out of existence when they try to cram more data
into a smaller space. Usually, you can expect 2-3 release periods per
year for any drive manufacturer, so you can time it that way.
