Hello,
On Microsoft web page I found Microsoft® .NET Compact Framework 2.0
Service Pack 1 Redistributable. Could you tell me please if there are
other service packs for .NET? I haven't found other SP in Internet but
maybe there are...

SP1 for VS 2005 is schedule for sometime Q3, don't know if this requires a
framework update -- but the implications are obvious if .NET framework needs
to be updated also -- I'm finding that most of our clients choose to NOT
install any "found" updates for .NET framework any version because the don't
understand why they need it. End result is more support calls for what
amounts to the same "DLL hell" as before. Fun huh!?

SP1 for .NET 2.0 is scheduled for 2007. SP1 for VS.NET 2005 is
scheduled in Q4 2006. Yes this sucks, though complaining to them has no
success. :(

FYI, the latest hotfix I obtained has mscorlib revision 166, where the
final shipped with 42, go figure

It's ridiculous. Microsoft's lumbering, slow as mollasses, response time in
the last few years is LUDICROUS. We decided not to port a bunch of old ASP
applications because of the myriad of bugs in VS 2005.
I've sincerely had it with Microsoft. We're currently looking at other
solutions. It's sad... but, we're probably jumping ship.
