Not bad for an external drive but I never heard of LaCie before.

The geezer who designed the case is getting a name check I see. Why?

It's a plain black glossy block with a blue strip at the front. I could do that.

(whispered aside: 'But you didn't though, did you?') Um, nope, nobody asked, lol

Am considering a couple of 1Tb disks as my media machine external 500Gb disk is filling up with movies and music.

My external backup disk is 500Gb and I have a 500Gb and 250Gb disk in the computer. But I don't back up the 25Gb Win XP OS partition or I-Tunes music to the external disk, so I can manage ok.

Still, both the computer disks and external disks are becoming full now.

Here's the one I'd get two of right now if I were buying:

Coupla terrabytes

And I get free postage at Scan.

You taking the Mick guv? :D

I could hazard a guess that giving a black slab a designer reference would be a somewhat misguided attempt to increase sales.

I have here a broken floppy drive unit sprayed with gold paint and mounted on a piece of balsa wood.

I have named this sculpture 'Osbidian Angst' and am only asking £5000.00 for it.

Great price :D

As we head towards HD video i think the space is going to be needed.

To be fair i have heard of Lacie previously. But then i'm a bit of a geek and work in IT Support.
