I just recently bought a Cannon A510 to replace my aging Olympus c840L

As I was leaving for work this morning a caravanette burst into flame outside my front door, I phoned for the brigade to sort it out then sneeked a few pics quickly once they had it under control.

I know I wouldnt be too pleased if someone took pics of me in my hour of dispair so these are not exactly taken for best lighting or angles etc.
You can see the guy in the yellow t shirt is in quite a state though, its his van.

Pics taken at 1600x1200 postard setting. Quite large downloads.

Hello Mike T and welcome

Poor chap, he didn't look very happy! Must have been quite a shock for you to be faced with a flaming vehicle outside your front door!

Nice to meet you by the way, MikeT ;)

The guy and his lady live just round the corner from me and had only just set out on the road to Glastonbury, so better it happened within walking distance of home than somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

Change of subject ;) here are some pics using macro of my garden flowers.
