I upgraded from IE 5 to the new 6.0 version. Now I am
getting a continious error after about 30 minutes of
browsing: "IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in module
Kernel32.dll at 0197:bff614ad" . I updated my video
driver, now I get just a blank white screen (error I
suppose) with a CLOSE button. Any ideas what my problem
could be? Should I unstinall the new version and go back
to the old 5.0? Thanks

Check your system for "hijackware".

HijackThis (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the
preferred tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

Thanks for the information. I have Norton Internet
Security on my system, just run a new update and scan it
picked up "Adware.NavHelper" . I deleted the program as
instructed in Symantec and run another scan. I think it's
gone. Do I need to do anything else so I no longer get
the error?
