Why there is no GB-Ram-Module in the list from Asus, only 512 MB?
Who can tell me, which module is running fine?
Thanks
The memory controller is inside the AMD processor. The
QVL from any S939 motherboard can be used to select
memory. With the Rev.E processors, you will get the best
memory performance of any AMD S939 processors offered -
Rev.E has better drive characterstics than previous
processors. (An example of Rev.E is "Venice")

A few listed here:

KINGSTON KVR400X64C3A/1G
CORSAIR TWINX2048-3200C2
Transcend TS128MLD64V4J
ATP AG28L64T8SMC4M
No 1GB listed for A8V:

A8N-E - list is in the user manual
KINGSTON KVR400X64C3A/1G
A8N-SLI Premium - list is in the user manual
Same parts as listed in A8V-E Deluxe, minus the ATP stick.
A8N-SLI Deluxe - list is in the user manual
KINGSTON KVR400X64C3A/1G

It seems Asus has only tested four 1GB products, as
seen in the A8V-E_Deluxe.pdf document. Ignore the
"1 stick, 2 stick, 4 stick" testing results, as they
vary from processor stepping to processor stepping.
Asus did not record whether they tested with C0, CG,
or Rev.E, for the QVL information listed above. It
does make a difference in the test result.
You can see here, that quite a few brands work with S939.
This review compares 2x1GB on a DFI S939 motherboard:

And this one proves that it is possible to run a decent
memory clock - 3-3-3-8 2T 4x1GB @ 274MHz (DDR548) 2.85V
