1900 xt clocks weirdness

I just purchased a HIS 1900 XT. The clocks shown in
the tool tray and under the Catalyst control center/overdrive
are 500/594. They are refered to as "current" VPU and memory.
The " system info" tab under CC also shows 499/594. I know that
the clocks are suppose to be 625/725 so I figure the card is defective.
But now, I'm looking at guru3D review of the 1900 xt, and they show the
same current clocks, 500/594! What gives? Can anyone
tell me what they see on the overdrive screen of their 1900 xt?
Is it 500/594, or is it 625/725?

they are your 2d clock speed m8

Thanks. How does one adjust the 3D clocks?
Is that the "requested" value shown?
Do the clocks automatically switch to "requested" settings
when lauching a 3D app, then revert back to
the 2D settings upon returning to 2D mode?

The card "underclocks" itself when in 2d mode (saves on power and noise).

The card is clocked at 500/600 by "default", as in under 2D, windowed 3D, or
if no drivers are installed. The drivers automatically increase the clock
speeds to 625/725 in full-screen 3D. To verify, leave CCC open, then launch
a game. When you exit the game, you should see 625/725 for a brief second,
then quickly drop to 500/600 as CCC refreshes.

If you run two monitors, it should be easy to leave CCC open in the 2nd
monitor, while you game in the 1st monitor.

This is very helpful. How can I adjust the clock in 3D mode?
Is that the "requested" value that I set?
Thanks
