Im running a dell optiplex 150 just install a hitachi 160gb but i can only get 128, i tried the fixes that microsoft sugested to no sucess anyone has a solution?

For Windows XP to recognize drives greater than 127GB:
1) BIOS must support 48-bit LBA,
2) The disk controller (either on the motherboard or separately) must
support 48-bit LBA
3) Service Pack 1 must be installed and lastly,
4) 48-bit LBA must be enabled in the registry.

Does the Hitachi web site or material with the disk comment on this issue?

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
