16 or 32GB Laptop?

Thinking of buying a new laptop in the black Friday deals. But do I need 16 or 32GB of ram?
Not bothered with ssd/m2 storage but how much ram do you need?

But would think 32GB like you say better.

It's probably less expensive to have it installed at purchase than to increase RAM later.

you only 'need' 8GB, however 16GB is considered by many to be the sweet spot ... if budget permits, by all means get the 32GB, it will add to bragging rights.

I would 'save' the money and get an SSD!

I missed that you aren't getting an SSD.
I'd give an SSD a higher priority over 32 GB vs 16 GB,

So you pay more for more ram & storage

If you're comfortable paying a lot more, go for 32 GB. You'll definitely notice a huge difference.
