A 15-pin VGA connector (monitor) only uses 10 of the pins, so if the loose ones
are 4, 9, 11, 12, or 15, just pull them out and your monitor will connect with
no problem.

But if the loose ones are don't cares, why bother with them at all?

Note: A sig is delimited by 2 dashes and a space character, not by 2
equal signs.
