How does the camcorder manufacturer suggest you transfer video to the PC?
Is it indeed a digital camcorder... or an analog one?

Thanks for the reply .
It is an ANALOG camcorder , a JVC -
model : GR - AXM405
THERE ARE connections for video OUT + audio OUT
THERE IS ALSO : another socket exit by the name of J ( jlip ) .
thank you for helping .

You'd need an analog composite cable, but I'm surprised the camcorder didn't
come with one. You'll also need an analog capture card in your PC. The
cable will be yellow for the video and probably a mini jack at the camcorder
end and either red and white for the PC end or another mini jack (depends on
your soundcard). You'll probably also need additional editing software as
Windows Movie Maker doesn't really like analog capture... it's very hit and
miss, it's designed for digital capture (through the firewire port).

Thank you very much for your help ,
I will let you know when I am through .
thanks again
