How do I enable WIN 2K PRO to read my 200GB HDD?

It pisses me off, I upgraded BIOS, changed the reg_key as suggested on
micro$oft web site and still 60GB is missing.

any suggestions?

Double check the steps -- do make sure that you did upgrade the BIOS to
the latest one.

Do make sure that you have the latest Win2K service pack (SP4), and
check the following:

http://www.48bitlba.com/enablebiglba.htm

Oh, and last but not least, do make sure that you reboot your machine
for the changes to take effect.

Did the bios upgrade actually address the hard drive limitation?

In other words, bios updates are made public for many reasons.

1. SP3 or SP4
2. EnableBigLba in registry
Run Disk Management, and check the left side of the lower right panel
where it says Disk 1 or Disk 2, etc. If the disk size reads about 186
GB, the operating system is properly configured.

Tnx m8!
Reg key was entered incorrectly. So much for microsoft support.
I followed their instructions to the letter.

Little app form link you provided did the trick!

Off I go to allocate "newly found" 59GB of space!

Thank you guys for your help!!

Other people may experience the same problem and need to be advised
