11x17 color printer

Does anyone have experience with an inkjet printer that can print
11x17 as well as 8.5x11?
The HP1220 will do this but it only has one meager paper tray.

If you are printing photographs, I highly recommend the Epson 2200. I can't
imagine a better printer. It only has one paper tray, however. (It's not
even a tray, actually.)

Epson 1280 does 13" X 19"

I don't understand your concern about only one paper tray. I don't know of
any other configuration on an inkjet.

I think there are extra trays as options for at least the DJ1220C and
CP1700. The CP1700 seems to be less trouble-prone than the DJ1220C, and
it's noticeably quicker.
