I'm getting a 1155 Com Port error on my Armada M700 when it starts up in Win
2k.

I hit F1 and it bootls like normal.

What do I need to do to get this fixed so It does not happen. It is a pain.

Thanks

Hitting F1 on an error sounds like a BIOS related problem, and nothing to do
with windows (any version) at all.

Error 1155 relates to assigning the I/O port address for the onboard serial
port(s). The BIOS is not able to do this because it conflicts with some other
device in the system. Do you have any PC-Card slots with anything in? Have you
added any hardware recently? If so, you'll either have to disable or move the
built-in serial port in the BIOS setup such that it does not conflict with the
device, remove the device, or put up with the error.
