101 Year old Marathon Runner

Remember a while ago there was a post about a guy still working every day at 100, and then a few months after that about how he fought of a couple of people trying to mug him?

Well, he's now training for a marathon:

"Martin says that in the last weekend, he's completed a 13-mile half marathon that took him a little more than five hours. It would have been faster, he says, but he says he stopped for a beer and a cigarette. "

Oh yeah I remember this guy from the tv programme Pimlico plumbers

He is unreal, an amazing man that wouldn't take the day off on his 100th birthday...The guys still working full time and now he's running marathons...Mind you 17 kids that if nothing else has kept him fit..

Yeah I remember this dude, even more so when I saw the photo of him. Good luck to him! He's fighting fit for 101 ...I'm not even that active.
