101/102 keyboard

My laptop keyboard works sometimes and doesn't at other times.
The device manager tells me it's ok.
I'm writing this using the on-screen keyboard.
I've tried updates.

It is probably a hardware failure. Random problems like that usually are.
Since it's a laptop, contact the laptop mftr.'s tech support for
replacement of the keyboard.
