I have a mayor problem with MSAS,
I'm using Win XP SP2 and MSAS v 1.0.509 with definitions
5705 (11/04/2005 01:44:42 a.m.)
gcasDtServ.exe uses up 100% of mi cpu and never ends.
I've seen this problem posted with limited acounts, but i'm
running on an administrator account with no other accounts
in my computer... so i can't be a account privilege bug.
The problem seems to happen when a scheduled scan is about
to run , and the last time i had to re-install MSAS to stop
it holding my CPU... (i tried closing it down, killing the
services, but when i start it again it holds my CPU again)
I don't have spyware in my system (i run ad-aware and
spybot), so it cannot be that either (i've seen a post
about something like that)
I would really like a solution, couse i can't leave my
computer running MSAS alone (My pc acts as a hub for two
others in my home, and it f***s up their internet
connection when this happens).
Thanks
