My brand new laptop winXP Pro servicepack 1, is killing
me. The image "system" logged on as "system" eats up all
my cpu, constantly on 100%. It seems to start after some
time of inactivity, even a restart does not help, only
safe mode. I did a clean reinstall, but the problem just
will not go away. Safe mode + another reboot sometimes
seems to fix the problem, but only temporarily. I think
it's related to my battery, since it seems to come more
often when I am charging. Please help. Reply to

Reza;
Look one more time. Does it say System Idle Process User Name System? System Idle
means just that. Idle. When doing nothing, this should be around 99%. This is a good
thing.

Thanks for the extremely qualified info, why do you even
bother? Huh dude, your brain muste be idle.
