I was online talking to a friend using the new MSN
Messenger. We started a game of Wheel-Of-Fortune, and
the download for the game's ActiveX control began.
Two or three times (or so), a Microsoft AntiSpyware
notice came up saying a modification was allowed because
it was known to be spyware free. I forget exactly what
it was, but I assume that it was the game I was getting
through the MSN Messenger chat window.
At one point one of the notices appeared, and I clicked
it and noticed I could drag it around. Then it woudn't
disappear, so I just moved it to the side and continued
typing/playing.
I noticed every program was just lagging horribly, so I
used CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to bring up task manager, and I saw
that 'gcasServAlert.exe' was using between 85 and 97% of
my processor cycles! I ended the process and everything
returned to normal.
