100% CPU usage; very slow saving forms

I am getting 100% CPU usage for about 15 seconds every time I save a form in Access 2002. This happens even if I have not changed anything. This seems to be somewhat faster upon a fresh reboot, but gets to this point within a couple of hours of programming.

This is not so bad during initial form design, but is absolutely intolerable when it happens every time I make a small change while testing code. There is a correlation between the complexity of the form and the length of time it takes to save; forms with few controls save immediatly, but the time seems to increase exponentially with the complexity of the form.

Click Tools -> Options, go to the General tab of the dialog, and look to
see if the Name AutoCorrect options are checked. If they are, uncheck
them and see if the problem goes away.

Thank you very much. That seems to have taken care of the problem completely. Save time, even on the most complex forms, is now down from 15 seconds to about 1 second.
