I had 5 new critical updates yesterday and 4 of them downloaded and
installed fine but the one for
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 failed. I tried it numerous times and it always
fails.
Any ideas?

Hi,

No idea, but see if you could download and install from the local drive.

It happened to me several times before and usually it could resolve by
downloading it and install from the local drive.

Hope this helps.

I have downloaded many updates that will not install. Can you tell me where
they reside so I can try to install them manually or in safe mode?

Thanks,

Tom

Same thing here. I have no clue what the problem is.

I read that is a problem in itself with Microsoft .Net 2.0. That is why the
update will not take.
But I haven't found an easy fix yet??

Its not a critical?

Hi,

Sorry for I don't understand what do you mean where they reside?

Do you mean by where can you download them again or?

I don't need to download them again if they are currently located somewhere
on my hard disk. I know I have downloaded them repeatedly but I don't know
where they are. By 'where they reside' I am asking what file location they
are in. If I can locate them and run them manually, I might be able to
somehow get them to install.

Thanks,

Tom
