Is there a way to support 1 to many types of data collection in Excel?

We have a spreadsheet we are using to collect contract information and we
need to also collect site locations. There can be 1 to many site locations
per contract number.

I'm thinking there must be a way to do it as it's just a TABLIX sort of
layout. But I'm guessing there needs to be a button you push that inserts a
new row somehow to enter the 2 or more site locations.

Hi,

Why don't you show us a sample of your data and explain with that sample
what you are trying to do. I'm not sure where you are going with this, what
do you want to be able to do with this? I mean you can enter two entries in
a single cell like Accounting, Security for one line of data. Or you can
have two duplicate lines with only one cell different, the ones containing
Accounting and Security.

Or are you asking you you can insert a row and copy all the data from the
previous row and then change one item?

Sort of like this below - I suppose just manually hitting insert for each
needed row can work too though - the more I look at it the more the initial
collection should be in Access:

contract:, Project Name (1 to many locations)
1, Helping King County Food Banks
Food Bank Name1, Food Bank Add1
Food Bank Name2, Food Bank Add2
2, Thurston County Food Banks
Food Bank Name3, Food Bank Add3
Food Bank Name4, Food Bank Add4
Food Bank Name5, Food Bank Add5
Food Bank Name6, Food Bank Add6
3, Whatcom County Food Banks
Food Bank Name7, Food Bank Add7
