Somehow the report prints 2 pages instead of just one.
In the design view it looks fine and I made Margins smallest in the page
setup.

In the page preview the report fits nicely in a page but it shows 2 pages
which are identical.

Do you know what is going on?

Haji

I suspect you have too much balnk space in the the report.
Open the report in design view, now drag the right side of
the design page as far to the left as possible.
I think this will fix the problem.

Thank you for the reply.

Unfortunatelly it did not work.
I have even made all of the components smaller and moved to the left on the
report. And then made the design page a lot smaller (7- inch width) but it
still shows 2 pages.
Height of the page is about 9.5 in.

Do you have any other ideas?

Haji

Haji, Your page width in design plus the right and left
margin must not exceed the size of the paper, If , as you
say the width of the design page is 7 inches the sum of
your left and right margin must not exceed 1.5 inches if
you are using the standard 8.5x11 paper.
The same for the length, Add the size of the header(s)
(make sure you also add the group header(s)) plus the
detail band, plus the footer(s) (including group ffoter
(s)) and the top and bottom margins must not exceed the
11", if you expect the report to be on one page. The
possible can grow properties of the bands and/or textboxes
may also affect, the total length of the page.

I would put a printable character (like a label with an
letter or character at the right end of the field in the
design view and also at the very bottom of the detail band
and page footer and see which is printing on the second
blank page, this should help you identify which size is
the problem.
Hope this helps.
Sorry I did not get back to this but I have to do my work
also.
