If this error is only occurring when trying to install the HP printer
software/drives, contact HP Support:

If this error comes up when trying to start or install any .exe program,
that could be indicative of a virus or a registry corruption.

You cannot start programs when your computer is infected with the SirCam

It could also be caused by a damaged installation of your HP program.
Uninstall using the uninstaller on the HP CD, then reinstall.

Clean the installation media (CD) and the drive. If after cleaning the
problem still arises, contact the HP support department to arrange a
replacement CD, or download the drivers and other software from HP.

I have been getting the same error messages, & HP Customer Support has made
several recommendations, none of which work.

I just purchased the HP 6210 and cannot get an installation completed. Same
errors others are experiencing. Anyone found a solution out there? Even
trying to remove the sofware using the utility on the CD states "uninstall.
bat is not a valid win 32 application. I am using XP professional.
