I never really thought it would, but 1 Gig of memory instead of 512 MB
really makes a difference.
I'm running Windows XP with SP2, and have a PCChips V21G motherboard, with
onboard Via C7 1.5 GHz processor.
Now, with twice the RAM, I notice about half the lag time when opening
folders to view, launching programs, and lots of other things.
