Microsoft has just released a Full Engine/Definition update.

Windows Defender Version: 1.1.1593.0 for XP
Engine Version: 1.1.3109.0
Definition Version: 1.24.4809.0

My definition version says 1.24.4886, which appears to be later than
1.24.4809. The rest is the same as in the OP. I have Windows XP.
 
The OP was 12/18/07 :-p
Today is 12/20/07 ;-)
1.24.4886 is the correct version for today's release :-)
