1.0 app on 1.1 and 2.0

If a user tries to run a .NET application built on the 1.0 framework,
and only has 1.1 and 2.0 installed, will they get an error. What does
the error say?

Are you sure they'll get an error? That's certainly not the case with a
1.1 application on a box with only 2.0 installed.
 
No. I assumed that they would not get an error as well.

Like you said, I know that a 1.1 app can run on a box with just 2.0
installed.

But I was lead to beleive that a 1.0 app could not run on a box with
just the 1.1 and/or 2.0 fw installed.
