For some reason, I can't get anything to play through
Windows Media Player. I always get this error message.
I've followed all the steps to fix it, selected all the
protocols under network, checked and downloaded any
updates, restarted my computer, etc. and nothing is
working. I know the links are valid, it even happens when
I try to even play anything from the WMP Media Guide.
Does anyone know what might be wrong? My company doesn't
have an IT dept. Help!

My windows media stop working after I found a trojan horse on my computer.
Be sure to scan your computer for any virus or trojans. Remove them. Then go >to microsoft.com and download WINDOWS MEDIA ENCODER 9.
