Thanx m8 all sorted now, what in fact I did was disable the system restore, run
a Norton deep scan and then deleted all the contents of the quarantine
section and hey presto scanned and all gone, and no nasty error message
afterwards.
It seems that may as Norton (maybe other av's) store the threats in the
quarantine area the Defender prog' still sees them as threats,I'm no expert
but it worked for me and I hope it helps someone else, thanx.
