0211 Keyboard Error

I'm running a Compaq Presario 700 US. Whenever I boot up,
I get a "0211: Keyboard Error" message, and neither my
keyboard or mouse respond. Sometimes, the keyboard will
function, but the mouse does not. What's wrong with my
computer?!?!?!?!

Are you using usb keyboards/mouse? If yes, be sure that Legacy USB is
enabled in the BIOS. If no, then try a different keyboard. If a
different keyboard doesn't solve the problem, then perhaps the
motherboard connection is going.
