I have a workbook with multiple worksheets, but one
worksheet is causing an error:
"EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module EXCEL.EXE at
0157:303e131a"
Prior to the error, when any cell with an in-cell dropdown
is selected a cell comment from a totally seperate cell is
displayed (complete with arrow pointing to the other cell).
The comment is the same one regardless of which in-cell
dropdown cell is selected.
There is one other outstanding thing about this sheet, one
cell displays the in-cell dropdown arrow, even though it
is not the selected cell.
Fixes I've tried are:
Remove the cell comment being displayed
Result: The next cell comment is displayed
Remove in-cell dropdowns
Result: In-cell dropdown arrow is still displayed for one
cell, worksheet works normally otherwise. However the in-
cell dropdowns are required so this isn't a permanent
solution.
Copy/Paste over the top of the problem cells
Result: No change
As the cells are linked to other cells in the workbook
deleting them isn't really an option.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this
behaviour?
Thanks.
