I have been restarting my system, checking out some Live Linux DVDs, I missed using F8 it's F11 on my MB, so I was re-booting into Windows unnecessarily.

Now I get a popup from MSE saying my system is potentially unprotected, "click here" if I wish to fix this problem ... so I did. I was not on the internet, it is a genuine pop up from MSE.

The link has taken me to this site ... I'm not a happy bunny, if this site is genuine I have nothing to fear, however, MS can go lick my arse if I ever see it again. WTF?

If this is not a genuine site, I still have the OpenSuse Linux DVD in the drive ... I'll use it.





[EDIT] MSE turned green, I did NOT download anything from that site, I strongly suggest you don't either, I conducting an online scan.

From reading the description on the site, it sounds very much like the software MS Support ran on my PC when I kept getting messages saying my copy of Windows was not genuine ( which it was )

Seems it'a a genuine site, but I ain't downloading anything from it ...

... if it pops up again, I'll either go here or here ... fact is, I have been to the latter and a'm prepared.
