Hello, anyone out there know what system file(s) Windows
2000 stores custom color schemes in? We'd like to be able
to transfer schemes that a user has setup and saved with a
unique name from one PC to another. Thanks.

Regards,

Randy

Custom color settings seem to be specific to the application, but they're
most likely stored in the registry. I found
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Custom Colors
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Settings value name
Custom Colors
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Custom Colors (probably irrelevant)

Individual applications may have their own keys. Some may use .ini files
instead.
