Can anyone please help - I am running an SBS 2000 server and a separate SQL Server and i get the following error which stops the SQL Server and / or SBS working forcing a restart to allow all services to act normally;
Error message <<Attempt to update HOST Service Principle Names SPNs of the computer
object in Active Directory failed.>>
I'm guessing its a DNS problem where the server is trying to tell the DNS server of its address but it cannot be updated in the active directory.
It looks like the server is not able to communicate with
the domain controller.
I would be grateful if anyone has a cure?
Many thanks
