Windows XP Installing While Running Ubuntu

I have an XP disc (along with an activation code) and I'm having a bit of trouble installing it.
Since this isn't a Windows OS, it's a bit different to install, can anyone help me?
 
i can help if you mentioned what you had tried to install? is it Linux or other thing....
if u installing linux suchas ubuntu, redhad then you should choose default creating partition option it would creat all partion such as native and swap if you don;t have knowledge about creating a partition in linux plateform......
