Windows 7 Chrome! Whyyyy

OK, my wife recently passed me a file which I thought was something important until she showed me the email where it came from! Was a spam zip file she asked me to open, which was obviously some sort of trojan, I cleaned it all up fine but now the only problem is that I cannot open chrome, or when it does open it always seems to crash, i have re-installed it. So if anyone has any idea what to do please let me know!

Sorry, don't have an answer, but I strongly suggest you pop along to BleepingComputers and ask them to see if you are clean of the nastie ... I suspect the nastie is still lurking around and causing the problem.

It has a good reputation, I don't use it ... however, cleaning up some nasties requires you run a couple of 'complementary' programs to be successful in eradicating the nastie, something BC is very good at.
